I’ve been searching for Hello Kitty’s backstory. What exactly is a Hello Kitty and why should I care? I have come across the very disturbing news that she has a pet cat!!! Since she IS a cat, surely owning one is akin to slavery. Near as I can figure she has no super-powers, no origin story, no fatal flaw, no nemesis. She’s just ‘cute’. How boring.

Rock Hard, Rhino, More photos and a New Section
Ross The Boss returned home yesterday after a fun and successful few weeks worth of shows with the RTB Band in Germany and Italy. The tour culminated at the Rock Hard Festival, where the crowd was treated to a special guest appearance from another former Manowar member, Rhino, who joined the band on stage for “Kill With Power”. Memorial Day Weekend turned out good!

As you can see by my crummy phonecam pics, I happened to catch Alex Skolnick’s jazz band last night. The best bits were the rock covers done jazz. Bizarre but awesome. As close to being in a parallel universe as it gets.

Well the Heroes finale may have been disappointing but the LOST finale on the other hand was 2 hours of really really awesome mind games…
on me, the TV viewer who has now sat through 3 full seasons and still can’t make heads or tails of most of what’s going on. It is simultaneously both frustrating and wonderful.

Maybe it was me
Maybe I wasn’t in the right frame of mind because I was distracted by a phone call from my rock star, who transported my thoughts to things Rock and Roll in Germany just before the Heroes season finale.
Or maybe it really was unsatisfying.
