Up until now I thought my page was pinkest but I was wrong.
The cleverest thing I ever did
was ask for Monday off knowing I was going to get home from my super-awesome Metalfest weekend late Sunday night. Such a relief to be able to get in bed and go to sleep knowing I could stay there as long as I felt like it. No alarm clock. No morning commute. No suffering at my desk all day drinking coffee and trying to make it to the end so I could go home and get back in bed.
At the Brooklyn Metalfest
Metal Guy in his 30's: We've all put on some weight in the last 20 or 30 years... you know since we had kids and such...
Dawn: I hear ya.
Metal Guy: How many kids do you have?
Dawn: Oh I don't have kids. I've just put on weight ;) I have cats. I'm a cat lady.
