I thought someone was using skype to call me and say Happy Birthday but thanks to this site I was able to find out it was a catalog company trying to get me to join a ‘money saving club’ without calling them back.

I dig these guys cause they talk for 4 hours about every episode. They’re not afraid to tell you when they had really stupid really wrong theories.
They’re not afraid to go way out there musing about things they know are ridiculous, which would only be funny to someone who wants to listen to a 4 hour podcast.

I’ve always felt that folks that were pirating mp3s back in the day were pretty much doing it because A) There was no other way to get mp3s yet and B) File sharing was new awesome technology at the time.

I try not to be one of those people who spreads urban legends around as if they are fact. This is one I know I’ve told. Got it from a college professor who used it in class to illustrate something. I forgot what. Maybe it wasn’t true either.

I think it’s *cute* that she thinks people my age should have it all figured out by now. Guess she’ll learn later in life (after she’s too old to blog) that no one ever really has it all figured out.
I love the idea that one day I’ll know everything and start gardening. Then I’ll just hang around in the outdoors being wise and waiting for the youngsters to drop by...

Big O just finished recording his live post-show podcast. First time I checked in live instead of listening the next day at work. My podcast habit is escalating. I even participated in small places and came up with the really dumb “there is no boat at all” theory which was interesting discussion for about 30 seconds.
