Happy My Birthday!!!

Today is my actual Birthday.
For real.

My Birthday is Awesome.
I had a great time tonight having neverending birthday festivities which included a stuffed pink cat, cherry and cinnamon flavored bourbon a couple of rock bands, and an actual explanation from a guy who liked me one day and then literally just didn’t anymore the next day. But it was Ross the Boss who got me the best gift of all by putting me back in touch with a long lost friend.

I only drank 2 martinis last night and waited around till I was sober enough to drive home in snow. Came home, made something to eat, which is totally where I went wrong FYI because after I’d fed myself… well I woke up in the morning with all the lights on still in my clothes.

So Im with my buddies drinking martinis and having general birthday celebrations as there’s actually three of us with birthdays this week and after a couple of drinks I say to the dudes next to me, “Our bartenders are totally Metal.”

Life begins at 40
or so they say, so at 40 I made it a point to change up everything in my life. I was generally dissatisfied in the first place around 39 and I wasn’t going to go into my 40s without doing something about it. It took me most of that year to figure out what my next move would be.
41 was the year I made all the changes.
42 will be the year I reap the rewards.
