Not as overwhelming
The thought of moving again is much less stressful this time because Ive still got my moving boxes from last time, and because I live in an apartment with no walls, everythings pretty well organized and there’s not a lot of hidden clutter.
But I still want to vomit at the prospect of actually moving.

Drove by my potential new place again and looked at my trashy neighbors trying to decide if i want to live next door to them or not.
Came home and looked at my current trashy neighbors trying to decide if i want to live next door to them or not.
Got a call from my potential new landlord who is ready to sign a lease.

Cyberstalking my new apartment
Thanks to brainyzip.com I was able to find out all sorts of statistics about the people living in what might be my new neighborhood. I wasn’t sure this afternoon when I drove thru and saw a shady lookin’ dude but the stats look particularly inviting.
I looked up my current neighborhood which isn’t so bad and looks really dreadful, so it’s gotta stand to reason that...

Drove home
to what will likely be my new home soon after work today to get a feel for what it would be like to finish work and drive home if I lived there. I enjoyed the nice short commute but I got a look at some of the neighbors and I’m officially undecided for the moment.
I should do random drive-bys at various times of day and night.
Decided to do grocery shopping
instead of laundry.
But then it started pissing down rain.
So now im doing neither.
Not my original plans
Went apartment hunting.
Cut and colored my hair.
Celebrated Kristyn’s birthday.
Changed the cat box.
Ate White Castles.
That’s a pretty good weekend.
Laundry Party canceled :(
Had big plans for doing laundry at the bar-that’s-a-laundromat with a friend who’s got like 5 loads to do but he backed out at the last minute. Which leaves me at home with a laundry back-up cause I’d been saving it.
Now that I'm talking about moving again
I’ve become concerned with just how many things in my apartment are actually held together with duct tape.

Im coloring my roots.
When I first asked my conservative father at the age of 16 if I could dye my hair black for the first time, I was nervous and worried. He said, “It’s your hair.”
Since then I’ve been making it one color or another every month or so.
Now I grow grey roots. Which only really matters to me because I have to do them more often.
Secretly I wonder if I grew it all out what...

Stairs. for the kitties. They’re getting fat.

Near bars
I'll be 22 in 4 days.

In my experience looking at apartments is a great way to see some really strange and disturbing things.
If I remember correctly, he posted a pic of Tiffany in the apartment while they were looking the last 2x so I expect we can get a 3rd soon.
I'll take showers.
First apt (too big/too expensive) was WAY too big.
Second apt (looks good on paper) was perfect!
Well almost perfect.
No place to put things in the kitchen but lots of space so I’ll get shelves.
The bathroom is small and so is the bathtub,
I’ll get over it in my whole extra room to use just for clothes and shoes.

Didn’t even go look at the 3rd apt.

Apt hunting tomorrow
I made a few appointments to look at some places that hopefully I’ll like better than living here where I”m at now. That ‘location, location, location’ thing turned out to be true.
When I moved here I was looking for somewhere big enough for me, the cats and my stuff. That’s not changed but now I want to be near something. Anything. I don’t even care what....
Why I love LOST
Sure it makes no sense at all but you gotta admit that everyone’s really good looking while they’re running around in the jungle making no sense.
I accidentally tuned in at the very moment the show first started. I flipped channels and landed on Jack’s eye, which as you know was the first scene in the pilot episode. It took about 8 seconds and I was hooked.
