Put it back right
I finally sorted out my new hard drive and rescued data.
Put it all back the way it was before I lost my drive in the move
Nice of iomega to send me a new one under warranty right away
and this is why you should backup your work kids.
Just started the backup of the restored drive/data which should take approximately forever

A kid just knocked on my door
kid: Do you want to donate so I can play football? (shows me a cup full of M&Ms)
Dawn: Um.... those are M&Ms. Not money.
kid: I know. I'm the M&M guy! Do you have kids?
Dawn: No. I have cats.
kid: I have cat food.
Dawn: Ok. bye now. (shuts the door hoping the kid goes away)

When I read this, I remembered that I missed this last year because the same dudes who took me to the LOST-A-THON and refused to go inside and acted as if I’d done something terrible to them, took me to Williamsburg last year for this on my request.

Hoarders Marathon
Since I started watching this in the early afternoon I’ve:
Cleaned the kitchen
Ran the dishwasher
Got rid of all the DVDs I never want to watch again
Put my Manowar VHS tapes and books away in a drawer
Vacuumed and dusted
Filed the mail sitting in my inbox since I moved
Threw away the box my cellphone came in
Started a new box to put stuff in that I’m going to give to Goodwill...

OK… NOW’s the time to put on shows like V and Flashforward. Not the time to cancel them. We didn’t watch cause we were busy with LOST. Looks like I’ll be watching So You Think You Can Dance this summer cause there’s not much else.

I did a Chuck marathon today now that LOST is over and I finally had the spare time to watch a crap-ton of TV all in a row. This show is really good. I like where they went with it.
Then I went out to bar and checked my tweets and it seems Jay (as in the most famous LOST podcasters: Jay and Jack) also watched Chuck today and posted a similar sentiment.
I wonder how many LOST fans were watching...
Got it right on the third try
Had an awesome night out tonight. Probably because folks didn’t have to go to work tomorrow and cause I went to one of the generally rowdiest karaokes ever. Awesome night out. Why can’t every night I go out be like that?
The Goodwill's Career Section
Just came back from the Goodwill where there’s racks and racks of bikinis under the “CAREER” sign.
I have nothing to do
Been so busy doing things that needed to be done since the beginning of April. It’s weird having nothing that needs to be done all of a sudden.
My plan was to move in April, focus on LOST in May and then I can live a life after that. This really is as far as I planned. I’ve run out of stuff.
As much as I like sitting around in my new living room, I can’t shake the feeling...
Well at least I tried.
Went to see this dude I know’s band play. Got stuck watching a really terrible band and then another band that had a freakin’ drum machine. Folks in the room justified the drum machine but I think there’s never any excuse for a drum machine. My friend’s band played a very short set that thankfully wasn’t awful and I got the hell out of there fast as I could.

There is no normal
Trying to get back to normal after an intense month or two of moving, no spare time, new rock stars, sick cats, trips out of town, and LOST.
Having trouble because there is no normal to get back to.
I will have to make one up as I go.

OK I keep saying that since I moved to Columbus well over a year ago now but I mean it dammit. Summer is upon us and tonight I walked to the bar and met up with the Martini Club who decided to meet in my neighborhood and it was awesome and I plan to do more real life stuff now that I know the end of LOST.

The tour dates with Ross The Boss, and my complaining weren’t enough to make them admit it. But once I set Scott up with his own tumblr and facebook I guess they couldn’t...

Just watched the LOST Finale again
Same impact as the first time.
Loved it lots, cried thru the last 30 or so mins.
I’m almost done with LOST now.
Not quite, because there’s still a few last podcasts.
Then I’m done.
I’m not doing the full scale rewatch with Jay and Jack when the DVDs come out, but I’ll probably do my own personal Season 6 rewatch then.
