My first Halloween.
Well, the first one I can remember, anyway. I can’t say how old I was but it had to have been when I was maybe 4 I’m guessing. I’m not even sure if I’m remembering more than one Halloween to tell the truth but it goes like this:

I suspect this is the exact scenario I can expect tomorrow night except I won’t leave. Packed crowds + Electric Six = Dancing. Now I just have to cross my fingers that timing works out for me tomorrow to make it.

I always have things that need doing in limited time and I’m always scrambling around to get as much done as I can before the weekend ends.
Today I stayed in bed till after 1pm with cats and then hung around the house doing nothing. Fell asleep in front of the TV on my new sofa for the first time. Cause I wasn’t done sleeping. And I didn’t go anywhere or...

I say this every year but Columbus really knows how to do Halloween right.
Last night I modified my Alien costume by putting a long sleeved shirt underneath and set out to The Highball. It’s an outdoor street fair where they block off the streets and the whole city comes out in costume for it. It’s the biggest Halloween party I ever saw in my life. Photos cannot do it justice.

Woohooo! That turned out better than I’d originally anticipated. Last year I won 2nd prize but I had nothing to live up to that this year. Thought I’d wear an old Angel costume of mine with motorized flapping wings and go out dancing tonight but I remembered my halo broke, so I went to the costume store to get a new one this afternoon.

It just took me so freakin' long to pay my bills.
First I had to go through a monsterous stack of paperwork that I’d been accumulating since before I bought the house. Then I had to figure out what I owed to who still from the apartment I just moved out of. Then I had to figure out what I owed to who for my new place and log all my new account numbers in the right places.

Stayed in last night to do laundry and get some sleep. Managed a load and a half and an extra hour of sleep. I think I could have done that better. Waking up this morning was still awful and everything I want to wear is wrinkled in the dryer.

Oreo is cranky today.
