I went thru a ‘thing’ some years ago when my bf dumped me and moved away and my best friend died within 3 mos of each other. I poured my heart out on my blog as a sort of self-therapy.

It was always just me writing for myself, yet somehow I attracted some people who came and read my rambling despair and I ended up with readers who identified and would send me emails and share their stories with me.

Every once in awhile I’d get an anonymous comment of support.

WHICH MADE ME REALLY FREAKIN’ ANGRY.

I mean, there I was spilling my guts to whoever would listen, because I was in a bad state… and some joker who thinks its important enough to send me some comment support feels like they need to protect their identity.

WTF?

I don’t have any use for anonymous friends.
I find them hard to count on when you need them.

This week I got an anonymous comment from someone who follows me on twitter and tumblr and tells me to stop importing the one into the other because they see it twice.

They follow me on 2 services, want to tell me how to run my site, but don’t want me to know who they are?? um.. ok.. well … i’m sorry my posting style is inconvenient for your stalking.
