I put up a few things on Craig’s List a few days ago.

The first responses I got to the furniture were really awesome nice people who wanted to come right over and buy stuff with no hassle.

The washer/dryer on the other hand generated a lot jerks. I don’t know why but it seems that washer/dryer sets are posted regularly from folks like me desperate to get rid of them. So the buyers basically respond to loads of ads and try and talk you down and give you the runaround while they look for someone to sell them a set at a lower price.

I got to the point where I was being one of those jerky sellers who is like this is the price firm and if you dont respond back within 2 hours I’m not selling it to you. I refused one lady because she clearly didn’t read the ad, asking me questions answered there and coming at me aggressively.

Which means I still have a washer/dryer to sell.

I put the ad back up and I got a guy who’s coming right over. I hope he just buys the damn things and takes them away. But that doesn’t make me desperate enough to let me rip me off either.
