First I had to go through a monsterous stack of paperwork that I’d been accumulating since before I bought the house. Then I had to figure out what I owed to who still from the apartment I just moved out of. Then I had to figure out what I owed to who for my new place and log all my new account numbers in the right places.

My bank just changed its bill paying system so I basically had to log everything in from scratch including a lot of my old accounts even though this is the last time I’ll be paying those bills. And when I was done I realized I needed to change the due dates on some of these things. When I did, it erased the amounts. So I had to go find them all again. What a pain.

Whole thing took several hours.
Which is ridiculous.
But it’s done.
If I live here till I die I won’t ever have to do that again.
