Thanks to Hulu, I’m finally getting around to watching Arrested Development.

Yes, it is a good show. However, I’m totally confused as to why some people think it was cancelled too soon. There are 52 episodes!!! Typically, a really good British comedy show will have 12 episodes. Sometimes as little as 6 (Darkplace)!! They do this many shows, then they make a new, hilarious show.

Americans, there were enough episodes of Arrested Development made. Please accept this.

Hmm.. Never thought of it that way…

Mostly it’s because this show was about to be cancelled the whole time it was on the air despite it’s obvious brilliance. And they’d mess around with the time slot and never gave it the respect it deserved. *sigh*

They could have gone so many more episodes if only the network had quit shuffling it around… each season had fewer episodes than the last. We nearly didn’t get Season 3 at all….

But then that happens to all the ‘good tv’ in America.
