That lasted about 10 mins before I nodded off and spent the night on the floor. But frankly my back seems better off for it and when I woke up she was acting quite normal. </p> <p>She doesn’t seem to notice or care about the tooth they pulled and she seems to find the stitches in her neck itchy. She is annoyed by me trying to give her pain medication and even though she’s into the idea I keep giving her more wet food, she keeps looking for the dry food that isn’t there anyway. </p> <p>I about had a nervous break down the night before I took her in. The closer it got, the more real it got and the more scared I got. I couldn’t sleep so I didn’t. Just kept thinking about the last time I prepped a cat for the vet like this and how she didn’t come back from that visit.</p> <p>Oh I knew Lucy was a whole lot sicker that last day she lived with me than Oreo is now, even though she still poops blood and we still don’t know why. But she’s been doing it a year and she’s healthier than any 15 year old obese cat should be by all the tests we’ve done.</p> <p>She’s sleeping on my jacket now. For a little over 24 hours except for trips to the food bowl and the litter box. The Flash has been such a good boy sitting by us calmly and not being crazy or jumping on her. He’s never calm. Had to take the dry food away from her. She doesn’t seem to care she had a tooth pulled. They took a small tumor off her neck.
